Element of design: Lines

Students were given a piece of 8.5" by 11" paper and were asked to draw their names/nicknames in bubble letters and then fill it with the different types of lines we discussed in class.  They then filled the background with more lines and coloured it in.  They were being assessed on the different types of lines used as well as their neatness and creativity.  Look what our amazing artists came up with!
